Our Mission Statement
To educate consumers about the health and social benefits of quality,
locally grown or prepared food products and to support local sustainable
agriculture by means of a weekly open air market to be known as The
Ocean Springs Fresh Market every aspect of which is permeated with a
spirit of education and enjoyment.

To help established independent producers and suppliers of good quality
food, food related items and plants produced and sold in Ocean Springs
and the surrounding area to develop and prosper to the advantage of the
area.

To seek out and encourage new, quality, food and plant related ventures in
Ocean Springs and the surrounding area, and to help them play a role in
developing the economic prosperity of their own businesses and the
prosperity of the area.

To take the Principles of the Fresh Market to the local community and
beyond, by means of, but not limited to, the media; talks to local groups
and schools; outreach programs, etc.

To develop and encourage other local, regional and nationwide
non-profit and voluntary organizations to play a full role in support of the
Fresh Market.

To consider all development opportunities for the Fresh Market, both
within and beyond its current format, fostering interest in the skill and
pleasure of cooking and eating.

We have an information booth at the Fresh Market every Saturday,
please come by if you have any questions about the Market, or if you
  would like to rent booth space at the Market.
